Toronto to Loon Lake (through Prescott)

1.) Take the 401 East to Prescott (between Brockville and Cornwall) and at Exit No. 721 going South (North is Hwy 16 to Ottawa) to the International Bridge.
2.) Take the Toll Bridge to the border.
3.) Follow State Hwy 37 Southwest (right turn) towards Ogdensburg approximately 4 km.
4.) At the third light turn left onto State Hwy 68 Southeast going towards Canton.
5.) Follow Hwy 68 for about 48 km. passing through Canton and Colton.
6.) At a stop sign, make a right turn in the direction of South Colton onto Hwy 56 going South.
7.) Follow Hwy 56 for about 35 km. passing through South Colton.
8.) At a stop sign, make a left turn onto Hwy 3 going going East to Tupper Lake.
9.) It's about 20 km. to Tupper lake, then a further 6 km. to the Hwy. 30 junction. Then continue past there on Hwy. 3 for another 20 km. to Saranac Lake
10.)From Saranac Lake follow Hwy. 3 East about 22 km. past Bloomingdale and Vermontville to the Loon Lake cut off.
(The turn to Loon Lake comes immediately after the turns to Onchiota and Merrills Corners.)

11.) Turn left onto CR-26 N (old NY-99) and follow for 5 km. into Loon Lake.

The Loon Lake Jewish Center and adjoining Shul House are on your right before the hairpin turn - just before the Loon Lake Inn and the Old Golf Shop.
